Pressure Washer Valves

0 Item(s)

An assortment of valves will keep your pressure washer working as smoothly as possible. Many of these valves come as part of the pressure washer, while other valves can be added to hoses, wands, and other external junction points.

Essentially, valves can allow or restrict the flow of liquid throughout the system. If a valve is failing, it can cause the pressure washer to be less efficient or worse. For example, a check valve lets enough water flow through the pump to build pressure at the water. A faulty check valve means no pressurization.

There are also valves that relieve pressure under the right circumstances. These relief valves are called into action when the pressure washer has been running for an extended time without the wand being engaged. To prevent overheating, the relief valve releases the overheated water, letting colder water in.

Ball valves are manually operated to restrict the flow of water, usually to hoses. For example, if you needed to switch out a hose or other accessory, you could turn the valve to the off position to restrict the water flow. Now you can make the necessary changes safely.

These are just a few examples of the valves we carry. Is your power washer losing pressure? Faulty valves could be the culprit. The APW Distributing service center is experienced and ready to help you get your pressure washer back into tip-top shape.
